PetroWiki is a collective resource. Any page of PetroWiki content likely reflects the collective contributions of many authors and contributors. These authors have made their contributions in the interest of documenting the current state of knowledge within the industry. While knowing who has contributed to a page can help to increase credibility, it isn’t about individual attribution.

When citing content in PetroWiki (see PetroWiki:Citation), you should not attribute content, or even specific changes, to any individual author. Moderators may have made changes to the edits that you cannot see. PetroWiki content should be considered the collective product of the community of authors and page champions who produced it.
